Illinois Watch Co., Springfield, Illinois, "189", 16 size, 21 jewels, stem wind and lever set, adjusted, damascened nickel plate movement with lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, gold jewel settings, gold timing screws and whiplash micrometric regulator in a gold filled, vermicelli band, engine turned and engraved, hunting case, Montgomery Arabic numerals, double sunk white enamel dial, plum colored steel spade and whip hands, serial #2256800, c1910.
CONDITION:
CASE: Case has housed another movement; Fine scratches on outer surface of case; Very fine scratches on inner surface of case; Minor brassing on pendant; Bow replaced; Crown with wear. DIAL: Cracks and minor loss at edge, concealed by bezel, 10:30; Center with small flakes adjacent to seconds bit; Scratches minor to dial; Center with spots of discoloration at right. HANDS: Oxidation. MOVEMENT PLATES: Minor scratches on plate; Bright work with minor oxide; Regulator assembly with specks of oxide; Specks of dirt. MOVEMENT FUNCTION: Running order (winds, sets and ticks) .
